About

While the VFW is a national organization, we are an organization dedicated to providing a place for all those that have sacrificed in our nations conflicts abroad. Our local posts show this dedication by supporting Veterans, service members and their families through numerous programs and activities that the VFW offers.

Mission

The mission of the VFW is to foster camaraderie among Veterans of overseas conflicts and to ensure those that protected our freedom, are protected in return. We serve not just our Veterans but their families, the military and our communities. We assist Veterans and their families in helping them receive their earned entitlements. The VFW is not only a place to socialize but an advocate for Veterans in Washington, D.C. The VFW was responsible for advancing the PACT Act through Congress to improve the health care and benefits for those Veterans that were exposed to burn pits and toxic substances.

Membership

Our Post membership is both broad and extensive. We have members ranging from WWII to those that have served in more recent conflicts such as Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. The most important part of being a member of Post 6380, is that we are highly involved in giving back to our communities that help us. We are involved with our local schools, Womens Civic Club, the Chamber of Commerce as well as our local scout troops.
